Reservation Price Estimate

The Reservation Price Estimate provided prior to service is an initial estimate of the cost of services reserved. Discretionary gratuities, tolls, extra stops, voucher charges, telephone usage charges, surcharges for pets and additional in-car bags, waiting time (when applicable), parking, and other service fees are not included. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Hourly Rates

Customers are billed from the time the vehicle leaves the Taxi Meter USA facility until it returns to the facility (Garage-to-Garage). Charges are calculated by applying the applicable hourly rate starting from when the chauffeur departs the facility to begin service and continuing until the chauffeur returns to the facility. The minimum number of billable hours is indicated in the Reservation Price Estimate, but it may not always reflect the exact number of billable hours. All reservations billed on an hourly basis will include a minimum of thirty minutes travel time each way, plus the time the passenger is in the vehicle. Fractions of an hour are rounded to the next half-hour increment.

Wait Time

Taxi Meter USA monitors all commercial airline arrivals. A 30-minute grace period is allowed on all domestic arrivals and 60 minutes on all international arrivals. After the grace period, waiting time charges will apply, accrued in 30-minute increments based on the vehicle’s hourly rate. A 30-minute grace period is allowed on pick-ups other than at an airport. Extra Stops

Chauffeurs directed to make an extra stop during point-to-point travel will be charged the base fare rate plus the hourly charge for the vehicle in fifteen-minute increments for the time the chauffeur waits. If there is more than one stop or if the stop lasts more than an hour, the trip will convert to an hourly charge.

Processing Fee

The Processing Fee is a surcharge based on various overhead expense items, some of which may not relate to the specific trip. The Processing Fee is calculated as a flat percentage of the base rate.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Changes and cancellations require 24 hours advance notice. If the passenger fails to cancel the reservation at least 24 hours before the pickup time, the full base fare will be billed. A no-show fee equal to the base fare and other fees will be billed if the passenger fails to cancel or arrive as scheduled at the designated customer/chauffeur meeting location. To avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee, the reservation must be canceled in accordance with Taxi Meter USA’s cancellation policy. To do so, you may cancel your order online or call (888) 525-8486. If you experience difficulty locating the chauffeur, please call (888) 525-8486. Leaving the pick-up location without notifying Taxi Meter USA will result in a no-show charge. Taxi Meter USA is not responsible for services delayed or not rendered due to weather or other circumstances beyond its control.

Child Safety Seats

Taxi Meter USA can provide Child Safety Seats upon request and may charge a fee for the use of a baby seat or booster seat. HOWEVER, IT IS THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO INSTALL THE CHILD SAFETY OR BOOSTER SEATS. THE DECISION TO USE CHILD SAFETY OR BOOSTER SEATS PROVIDED BY TAXI METER USA IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. NEITHER TAXI METER USA, NOR ITS AFFILIATES, NOR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SHAREHOLDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS MAKE ANY WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS AS TO THE QUALITY, SAFETY, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY RIDE OR TRIP YOU MAY TAKE OR TRANSPORTATION YOU MAY USE, AND ASSUME NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY THEREFORE.

Lost or Misplaced Items

Please note that Taxi Meter USA assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items left in any vehicle.
